About Us

Mission Statement

Our mission is to operate in an environment that will guide young children in the direction of a positive, successful life. This Early Childhood program develops and advocates for young children to help families expose their children to quality early learning experiences and to provide stability to a young child.

Philosophy Statement and Core Values

We believe the children of Joyful Noise Early Learning bring life experiences and their own personal cultural heritage. Partnerships between families and our experienced and knowledgeable staff is a key element for the growth and development of each individual child. We strive to create relationships with families to create a sense of community because we believe it takes a community to raise a child. Our program and services is designed with a developmentally appropriate curriculum and we take pride in our efforts to enhance social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth in young children. Children learn through real life interactions with their peers and adults. When a child has a teacher that reads and interacts with them even during playtime, the child has learning experiences that are so much more meaningful. This was best described by Jean Piaget, a theorist who believed cognitive development is how children learn. He believed children construct an understanding of the world around them, then experience conflicts between what they already know and what they discover in their environment.

Our Core Values

1. Children are the most important part of our community

2. Quality child care and developmentally appropriate education are a unit

3. Professionalism is the way we will always present ourselves with knowledge, skills and respect

4. Diversity is encouraged. Our staff and services respect and reflect the differences in our community

5. Our Inclusive Environment supports all families in order to meet the needs of our diverse world.

Vision Statement

Caregivers are valued as an important factor to a young child. Children are to be valued and disciplined in a caring environment based on mutual respect. A professional and highly motivated staff, in partnership with parents, will create a child that will achieve at his/her full potential. We must maintain an environment where children can develop spiritually, academically, socially, physically, creatively and morally. Children's learning and growth are intertwined. Parents are valued as their child’s first advocate. Meaningful experiences are the things that produce growth and development. Children should be given many opportunities to learn through play. Reading aloud to children introduces them to creativity within their minds
